If it is unusual and can be grown in Greater Brisbane, we try to stock it, but only in minute amounts, unless people pre-order. Exceptions are some ferns (we try to stock all native ferns that can be grown in garden or bush-house conditions in S.E.Qld.) and native cycads and Brachychitons. We may have the widest range of these last two available in Australia. Plants from the Northern Territory are also a speciality.
We also specialise in warm climate bulbs from Australia, Africa & South America, and species roses. Our frosty climate means we know what is frost hardy and to what degree.
Hopefully a species list will materialise around December. We are happy to take long-term orders, or try to track things down. Wide range of grafted plants, including unusual bush food plants, small Myrtaceae like Kunzea & Scholtzia, Hakeas and Grevilleas. Both Rhododendron lochiae and its hybrids are available.
All native palms that grow well in Brisbane are stocked, plus many of the choicer exotics. Also some of the neglected natives - creepers, aroids, sedges & grasses.
