THE FLORA OF THE PINE RIVERS VALLEY

This small book lists over 1000 native species indigenous to the Pine Rivers Shire, on the northern border of Brisbane in south-eastern Queensland. As well, it contains maps, a brief description and history of the area and many line drawings of the plants. Plants are listed in catalogue form by family, with botanical name, common name, form (whether tree, shrub, vine, etc.), flowering season and natural habitat. There is an index to species in the back of the book. This book is invaluable to anyone living in south-eastern Queensland who is interested in the local native species.
