IPSWICH BRANCH

Approximately 40 people attended the inaugural meeting of the Ipswich Branch of SGAP, which was held on 1st October 1974. Barbara Buchan-Hepburn was elected Chairman and Peter Tunbridge Secretary/Treasurer (but was replaced by Rene Wellstead).

Meetings - second Tuesday of the month (except January), Environmental Education Centre (Crn of Goleby Avenue and Merle Finimore Avenue) Queens Park, Ipswich. There is a business meeting at 6:30pm, followed by a guest speaker at 7.30 pm.

Excursions - are held the weekend following the meeting, generally alternating between Saturday and Sunday.
