Welcome

The Society for Growing Australian Plants (SGAP) offers a wealth of information and activities to people interested in Australian native plants.
SGAP is based on autonomous State bodies including the Queensland Region. Members join the Society in Queensland by joining SGAP Queensland Region, and then, optionally, joining one of the many Branches.
A Federal Council called the Association of Societies for Growing Australian Plants (ASGAP) has been established to coordinate nation-wide activities such as the special Study Groups and national seminars. Membership of any of the SGAP State Regions allows participation in ASGAP, which receives a levy from the Regions.
We hope you enjoy exploring our site, and that you find the information interesting and useful.
