NPQ Faces

The Society for Growing Australian Plants have been making a few changes

We are still the same society that you know and love. However, you will be seeing more of us under the banner of our new trading name:

'Native Plants Queensland'

We have a new logo and will soon have a new website to share with you.

Nothing else has changed: we still have enthusiastic members who study, cultivate and conserve our native plants.

Check out our:

Society for Growing Australian Plants Queensland Region, Inc.
NPQ Branches Branches hold monthly meetings where members share information, enjoy garden visits and identify plants. We have branches all over the state of Queensland. Check our contacts page for details of a branch near you.
NPQ Study Groups Our study groups and field trips give you an opportunity to study a specific group of plants such as Grevillea, Wallum Heathland, Small Plants, Ferns and many others. Visit special locations to see native plants in their natural habitat.
NPQ Plant Markets We organise numerous plants markets in the Brisbane area and throughout Queensland. Select from a wide variety of native plants at very reasonable prices. You will find many plants that are not available in commercial nurseries.
NPQ Native Flower Show The annual Native Flower Show and Plant Market is held in Spring at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Auditorium. You will see a wonderful display of Australian native flora which showcases our treasured plant diversity.
